PRE-CONGRESS WORKSHOP
MicroRNA Analysis
Learn how to extract and
analyze miRNA with appropriate techniques!
Target audience: Researchers interested in analyzing
microRNA.
Entrance qualifications: Basic knowledge about microRNA and
molecular analyses.
Description: This
course (2 days miRNA analysis) introduces miRNA including its variant
forms. Methods to extract and purify microRNA and prepare it for
analysis including quality control. Methods for microRNA expression
analysis are presented and compared, to learn how to too choose the
best method for each study. Analysis of microRNA data is also discussed
including challenging normalization.

The International
Congress on Precision Medicine Beyond Cancer (PMBC2018)
15-16
October 2018 Munich, Germany
www.PMBC2018.com
Precision Medicine is
currently most prominent in cancer but the treatment methodology is
maturing. The PMBC2018 Congress aims to broaden the perspective to
other non-communicable diseases and reduce the cost burden to society.
Progress in computing power, artificial intelligence and omics
technologies enable new approaches to decipher complex pathologies,
generating new insights and avenues for disease intervention and
ideally disease prevention.
PMBC2018 will showcase cutting-edge Precision Medicine companies from
around the world, while panels and keynote presentations aim to enable
best informed decision making in strategy and policy design to
implement Precision Medicine into every day healthcare.
We look forward to welcoming leaders and decision makers in industry
(pharma, diagnostics, healthcare and insurance companies) as well as
IoT, ICT and artificial intelligence professionals, investors and
strategic policy decision makers to this exciting and dynamic Congress.

This
six webinar series on PCR will be based on MIQE guidelines. MIQE,
Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative-Real Time PCR,
helps scientists to design and report reliable and reproducible qPCR
results. They help others to understand and replicate already conducted
experiments. In this webinar series we will discuss step by step
critical points which need to be taken into consideration in order to
acquire reliable data.
Topics will include:
- Basic principles of PCR, qPCR and
ddPCR
- qPCR Assay Design
- Importance of Sample Quality in qPCR
Analysis
- Improving Assay Quality by Optimization
and Validation
- Data Analysis
- Troubleshooting
